About Me

Hi, I’m Russell Fenton, the guy behind Sunday Stoic. I created this space for people like me—those who find value in Stoic philosophy and want to deepen their understanding and practice, but who also welcome truth wherever it may be found, refusing to cling dogmatically to any one philosophy, religion, or way of life.

I’ve spent years circling around Stoic texts and ideas—sometimes engaging with them thoughtfully, but often only at the surface. Sunday Stoic is my attempt to go deeper: to revisit some works with fresh eyes, to read others for the very first time, and to wrestle more honestly with what the Stoics—and the many scholars (and non-scholars) who have written about them—might still offer us today.

I don’t claim to have it all figured out. But I believe in showing up, asking better questions, and making space for reflection—especially when life gets noisy. That’s what Sunday Stoic is all about. I hope you’ll read along, think along, and if something resonates, feel free to reach out or share your thoughts.
